I had the joy of taking my own nephew's high school senior pictures when he was recently in town visiting. I am so proud of him and all of his accomplishments. He is a smart and kind-hearted young man with a bright future ahead of him.
My favorite memory of Brandon is actually...a bad memory! Two years ago, when he and my sister were visiting, we all went down to the pool at my mom & dad's house in Gainesville. Within minutes of me putting my then two-year old son, AJ, in the pool, he began to act strangely and starting having a seizure. This was his second febrile seizure and I knew what was happening. I was certainly less hysterical than the first time, but terrified nonetheless. As my mom called 911 and my sister watched over my kids in the pool, Brandon was by my side as I comforted AJ through his seizure in a grassy area on the side of the pool. His calming presence was extraordinary. He definitely helped me get through those terrible few minutes as we waited for the ambulance. I am so grateful that he was there - he was the most calm of any of the adults there!
I hope you enjoy these pictures! Brandon had so many great ideas and we had a lot of variety in our locations. He has future hopes and dreams of getting into politics to serve his community and our country, so he wanted to include his patriotism as the primary theme in these pictures.
We had fun in Historic Buford with so many cool backdrops and elements, and also did several shots in Downtown Gainesville (love that bridge!) If you ever visit Downtown Gainesville, GA, do yourself a big favor and have pizza at the BEST PIZZA JOINT IN THE WHOLE WORLD (I'm not kidding here...) at Atlas Pizza. You will be blown away. It isn't just pizza. It's PIZZA.
Ok, now pictures...
