I am so thrilled to have been able to take an in-person workshop with Meg Bitton, a world-renown fine art children's photographer based just outside NYC. It was truly an incredible experience and I wanted to share a few images that I took. We met up at a beautiful estate in North Georgia and had the honor of shooting the lovely Kendra Collins, a local model/actress who recently signed with an agency out of New York. Then we had dinner and the opportunity to ask Meg anything - I feel cooler just having sat next to her at dinner (with the hopes that some of her magic might rub off on me!) We spent the next week editing the images on our own and then reconvened online to watch Meg edit the images from the session. I learned so much. Even though this isn't my typical style of photography - I'm more of a life-is-messy-loud-chaotic type of girl and so family photojournalism suits my personality much better...I know I can take what I learned from her and apply it to my own work. But regardless, I hope you enjoy. For how she envisioned these images, you can visit her facebook page. And this gorgeous dress was compliments of FabTutus.
